Our Team

When we meet our clients, they tell us that they wish they had the tools and skills to live happier lives, better understand their patterns of behaviour, have more fulfilling relationships, feel more authentic and have the ability to be more present and balanced at work and at home.

Our clients are successful, intelligent men and women. And really, they are probably a lot like you. They tell us that if they knew how to solve their concerns on their own they would, but so far they haven’t been able to find the solutions they need.

Perhaps you can relate?

Are you looking for effective change strategies to improve the quality of your life, feel more in control of your career and navigate the ups and downs of life with more ease?

That’s where we come in!

Our understanding, compassionate and talented Associates at Susan Blackburn Psychology use their clinical expertise to find the best therapeutic solutions for your needs!

Haley Blumenfeld, MSW, RSW |
Clinical Therapist

(practice directly supervised by Susan Blackburn, C.Psych.)

Haley sees adults and couples with diverse range of concerns. These include experiencing symptoms related to emotional health, feeling unable to cope with stress or problems in their lives, experiencing relationship issues, feeling low self-esteem, and sometimes grief in both individual and couples contexts. She helps her clients to rebuild their confidence, face their challenges and succeed in achieving their goals.

Engaging in therapy is a vulnerable and courageous undertaking. Haley appreciates this and aims to create a space that is warm, non-judgmental, comfortable and collaborative. Her therapeutic process recognizes clients as the expert of their experience and is founded on respect for each individual’s pace.

Haley offers a client-centered, resilience-promoting and emotionally intelligent approach that is individualized to each of her client’s unique needs, aspirations, and strengths. Her approach to therapy is eclectic and integrates techniques from several evidence-based models: Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Interpersonal Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy.

One of Haley’s passions is working with women to feel empowered and supported as they navigate some of the most wonderful and challenging experiences of their lives with their reproductive and maternal well-being. Areas of focus include infertility, anxiety, role transition challenges, insomnia, birth, childhood or adult trauma, and post-partum depression.
